Controversial Hornby Bike Lane Approved!
Vancouver Sun reports:
“Vancouver’s pro-bike city council unanimously approved the controversial Hornby separated bike lane late Tuesday night, despite the concerns of local businesses.”
Another step in the right direction for Vancouver! If you haven’t taken one of our Vancouver bike tours (more info here) or if you’re not interested in cycling you are missing out on great exercise, sustainable transportation, and with aid from the integrated bike network a faster way to commute!

“Vancouver by Bike” was absolutely fantastic! One of the best things we experienced there until now – and it was our 3rd trip to the city. You get a totally different view of the city. It is definitively better and provides more memories than exploring the city by sightseeing buses. And after having biked 22km through Vancouver you don’t feel tired at the end.”
