6000 feet atop Whistler Mountain, feast on a five course menu paired with locally produced wines! This is first event of many in the Whistler Winemakers Series during which local vineyards showcase their different wines in accordance with seasonal fare. The first of these brands to be featured is See Ya Later Ranch located in Okanagan Falls.

This Sunday the 15th between 8:45am and 4:00pm head up to Whistler Blackcomb to see some top level athletes show off what they’ve got for chances to win $60, 000 worth of prizes! The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series is a 3 stop competition chain judged with the help of the Association of Freeskiing Professionals (AFP). Athletes will be judged on difficulty, style, use of apparatuses and overall impression in both halfpipe and slopestyle courses.

These competitions are great venues for athletes to accumulate points in order to qualify for the 2012 Winter X-Games. So head on out and up to Whistler/Blackcomb this weekend for some awesome competition and an even better Apres-Ski celebration.
