<li>The West End Community Centre is hosting its <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://vancouver.ca/Parks/cc/westend/website/West_End_Coal_Harbour_CC/Holiday_Craft_Fair.html" target="_blank">Holiday Craft Fair</a> this weekend, November 28th &amp; 29th from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Admission is free.</li>
<li><a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://vancouver.ca/PARKS/events/brightnights/" target="_blank">Bright Nights in Stanley Park</a> featuring the holiday train begins November 27th.</li>
<li>St Paul’s Hospital downtown is hosting the <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://www.heartandlung.ca/hearttalk" target="_blank">Women’s Heart Health Forum</a> this Saturday, November 28th. The Forum and Fair are free to the public although space is limited.</li>
<li>The next Vancouver 2010 <em><a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://vancouver.ca/parks/info/2010olympics/pulse.htm" target="_blank">Pulse to the Podium</a></em> event takes place at the False Creek Community Centre this Sunday, November 29th, from 11:00am – 1:00pm.</li>
<li>On December 1st there will be a <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://www.surrey.ca/Visiting+Surrey/Events/Event+Pages/PRC+Events/Tree+Lighting+Ceremony+2009.htm" target="_blank">tree lighting ceremony</a> at Holland Park in Surrey. The free event, with Mayor Dianne Watts, is for all ages will feature the Olympic mascots, Tim Horton’s hot chocolate, and many activities. They will also be accepting non-perishable food donations for the <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://www.surreyfoodbank.org/" target="_blank">Surrey Food Bank</a>.</li>
<li>The <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://www.edmondssantaclausparade.com/" target="_blank">Edmonds Santa Claus Parade</a> happens in Burnaby this Saturday, November 28th at 1:00pm.</li>
<li>The <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://www.bctrains.com/Christmas.htm" target="_blank">Bear Creek Park Christmas Train</a> launches its holiday run December 4th.</li>
<li>Capilano Suspension Bridge launches its holiday light display, <em>Canyon Lights</em>, with <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://www.capbridge.com/index.html" target="_blank">Light up the Night</a> on December 4th.</li>
<li>CBC’s annual <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://www.cbc.ca/bc/features/openhouse-foodbank/index.html" target="_blank">Food Bank Day</a> fundraiser is December 4th and they’re also doing an open house for their new downtown broadcast facilities.</li>
<li>The New Westminster <a style="color: #2244bb;" href="http://www.hyack.bc.ca/events/santaparade.php" target="_blank">Hyack Parade of Christmas Light</a> is December 5th along Columbia Street</li>
